Our Goal is to preserve this island of nature from the destruction of development. Located between two rapidly growing cities, Chicago and Milwaukee, land like this is almost impossible to find anymore. What is available is in danger of being developed

. "Let the critters fend for themselves" is the attitude. The Wild Life cannot defend itself against this over development. They have no place to go.

Our goal is to give them this place. Located across from Department of Natural Resources land (hunting permitted), the combined area for the survival of Wild Life is effectively much larger. During hunting season, many animals escape to our haven in which No Hunting is permitted.
